Our Team

  • Dr Josiah Manteit

    Dr Josiah grew up in Brisbane, where he completed his Bachelor of Science, and then his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland.

    His passion for skin cancer began during a medical rotation at a rural GP practice, an experience that shaped the direction of his career.

    After hospital training, he completed his GP training obtaining a Fellowship of the Royal College of Australian General Practitioners (RACGP). Josiah then pursued further training in skin cancer medicine and surgery, becoming an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA). He also spent five years assisting a plastic surgeon in theatre in Bundaberg.

    Dr Josiah has since gone on to mentor and train other doctors in skin cancer medicine and surgery across Bundaberg, Childers, Gatton, and Townsville, helping build skin cancer expertise in regional Queensland.

    Brings over ten years of experience in skin cancer removal and reconstruction, and performs weekly operations at Kaleidoscope Cosmetic & Skin Cancer Clinic, and Wide Bay Private Day Hospital. He also offers CO2 laser treatment of skin cancers on the lip.

    He is currently undertaking a mentorship with Dr Nathan Schaefer, a plastic surgeon based in Brisbane.

  • Dr Emily Jacob

    Dr Emily Jacob is a Rural GP with extensive experience in skin cancer medicine.

    Raised in the Atherton Tablelands, she studied medicine at James Cook University in Townsville and completed her training in Mackay and Kuranda.

    Prior to joining the team at Kaleidoscope Skin Cancer Clinic, Dr Emily worked as a General Practitioner in Bundaberg for four years, where her areas of special interest included skin cancer medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and mental health.

    Dr Emily enjoys educating junior doctors and is a passionate champion of the career and lifestyle benefits of working in rural and remote medicine.

  • Dr Bryce Nicol

    Dr Bryce Nicol (FACRRM, AFRACMA, MBBS, MPH, CEM(ACEM), DCH) is a General Practitioner with special interests in Emergency Medicine and Skin Cancer Medicine.

    A Childers local, Dr Nicol is passionate about improving access to high-quality skin care in regional areas.

    At Kaleidoscope Cosmetic & Skin Cancer Clinic, he provides comprehensive skin cancer screening services, topical and photodynamic therapy, and skin cancer excisions.

    Dr Nicol also offers cosmetic consultations and treatments.

  • Nurse Britt

    Nurse Britt is an experienced and dedicated Dermal Therapy Nurse, specialising in advanced skin treatments for pigmentation, rejuvenation, acne, and redness.

    Britt has a strong clinical focus on long-term skin health, regeneration, and client education. Britt brings a calm, supportive presence to every consultation, ensuring clients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their treatment journey.

    Passionate about skin health, Nurse Britt helps clients achieve clear, calm, and radiant skin through tailored treatment plans.

  • Nurse Emma

    Nurse Emma is an experienced aesthetic nurse with a gentle, detail-focused approach to cosmetic treatments.

    With a passion for natural-looking results, she specialises in wrinkle management and facial rejuvenation, helping clients feel refreshed and confident. Emma takes the time to understand each individual’s goals, tailoring every treatment to suit their unique features while prioritising safety and patient comfort.

  • Nurse Chelsea

    Chelsea is a Registered Nurse with three years of clinical experience and a background in palliative care, where she has developed a strong foundation in compassionate and holistic patient care.

    Having completed her Diploma in Dermal Therapies and Injectables, she now brings her expertise into the world of cosmetics. Chelsea has begun expanding her skillset into microneedling, chemical peels and laser treatments, confidently combining her medical knowledge with a passion for helping patients feel confident and comfortable in their skin.
